About Simone

Hi, I am Simone Muller, in 2021 I launched re-centre, an online platform to share the incredible Hypopressives technique. The intention was to make the technique more accessible, and give women the tools to empower their own body to be the strongest and most functional versions of their brilliant selves.

At the age of 14 I moved from South Africa to the UK to study dance. While at the Royal Ballet School I was introduced to Pilates, and in overcoming a back injury learned first-hand about the benefits of Pilates.

Although my 15-year dance career and 13 years teaching Pilates gave me a sound understanding of body mechanics, I found that after my first child everything changed. I had a 3rd degree tear during my first labour and my pelvic floor and abdominals felt like they had been entirely disconnected from my brain. The Pilates exercises that had worked before no longer felt good and didn’t bring the results I had expected in my own body and that of my clients, especially those with Diastasis Recti and pelvic floor dysfunction.

In 2017 I travelled to Spain to learn the Low Pressure Fitness technique and was the first fully qualified up to level 3 instructor teaching in London. After the birth of my second child I started practicing Low Pressure Fitness and the difference in my recovery was huge. If I hadn’t experienced it in my own body, I wouldn’t have believed it was possible to regain strength and pelvic floor tone as quickly as I did. And second time round, I knew how hard it had been previously, so I also knew this was not genetics at play.

Over the last 4 years my work has been primarily focused on post natal rehabilitation, and in that time I have been amazed at the results my clients get, from prolapse and incontinence reversal to dramatic Diastasis Recti improvement. The most encouraging thing for me is how my clients enjoy the work and how it has brought a sense of calm to their lives.

In 2020, I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher training certification with Naomi Annand and Adam Hocke through Yoga on the Lane and slowly this training is influencing my offering, and bringing more variation to working with the innate intelligence of the human body.

I am hugely excited to be able to share this incredible technique with you.
